General Community Older Adult Program Grants
Grant Amounts
Grant amounts vary considerably and are dependent on several factors.
Some important considerations include:
- The applicant organization’s program budget
- Consistency of the program goals with the Foundation’s Older Adults Program Grants priorities
- The amount of support the program is receiving from other sources
The average grant amount for the 2009 Older Adults Program Grants Cycle will be in the range of $25,000 to $50,000, with the maximum grant amount $100,000. Projects are funded for one year.
The Foundation does not wish to be the sole funder of organizational programming and encourages applicants to develop a variety of individual, government and private funding sources for their programs. If the grant request is for demonstration programming, the applicant organization should identify their plan for long-term funding.
